Today was a beautiful fall day, and Jon had the day off, so we went on a hike.  Well, not a hike up big hills or in the mountains that takes all day, but an afternoon hiking adventure.  It was a very flat trail along the Palmetto Conservancy Trail.  It used to be an old railroad line, but the tracks have all been removed and now it is a well groomed trail that has multiple bridges with great scenery (http://www.palmettoconservation.org/pdf/CompleteRailTrailGuide.pdf).  We did not do so good about taking pictures of the bridges, but here are a couple of cute pictures of Blaire.

You can't see it in the picture, but Blaire is standing on top of a rock that she climbed.
She really wanted to use the hiking sticks, but they were a little too long for her.
This is the first bridge we crossed.

After this nice long 3.5 hour hike, Blaire slept in the car the whole 2.5 hours it took to get home.  Ah, fresh air makes for a great precussor to a long nap!

Now we are home and it is time to play.
