So, most of you know that we are expecting another Cavin baby sometime near the beginning of February. Well, since we first told Blaire, she has been saying she wants a baby brother (pronounced brudder).
Well, we had our 20 week sonogram this past Friday. I had been sure, we were having a girl since most of this pregnancy has been very similar to my pregnancy with Blaire. Well, boy was I wrong. We are having a boy! We are excited, but very stumped for a name. We just cannot seem to find the best name to go with Cavin or with Blaire. For the rest of our lives we will be saying, "Blaire and (insert name) Cavin." We have had lots of suggestions, but which one is the right one? Makes me wonder how we ever knew "Blaire" was the rigth name for Blaire without even meeting her.

When I came back from the sonogram and showed Blaire the pictures and told her she was going to have a new baby brother she replied, "NO! baby sister." For 4 months all she has said is baby brother, and the day we find out for certain, she decides she wants a baby sister. KIDS!!!!
We do have the crib set up in the nursery and we had lots of her baby blankets and toys out just incase we needed them. However, Blaire would come in and see it and say, "mine, mine," and take it all back to her bedroom. So, I think it is a good thing we are having a boy. I am not sure how well she would have shared her ladybug quilt or some of her pink toys that are now stashed away in her closet. I am not sure if she stuck them there to keep me from taking them or if she just thinks that is where they belong.
