Trip Around the World...

well, we really did not go around the world, but we drove from south, then west, then north, and finally east to make one big circle. It was a great trip, but over 2000 miles is a bit much for 10 days.

Blaire and I headed to SC for the first annual Orangeburg Jingle Bell Run and stayed for a jam packed weekend. We got to see all of our old friends, help celebrate two friends' 30th Birthdays, and go for morning runs with Sarah (well, Blaire was still in bed asleep, not up and running at 5:20).

This is Megan finishing the kids 1 mile fun run.
Note the festive leggings.

The birthday girl...

Seirra and Blaire at the kiddy table at Kristy's surprise party.
Then we headed to Huntsville to pick-up grandma so we could drive to Illinois to see great grandma, great-aunt Lanore, and great-uncle Dave. We did not seem to take any pictures on this part of the trip, but I am sure my mom did. At least I remember lots of flashes aimed at Blaire.
We finally returned home, so excited to see Daddy!!! Once home, we realized there was a tree with lots of dangly things to play with, snow everywhere, and a box.

At first the box was a slide, then we just sat on it and spun around, then it became an airplane; woo, woo.....

The box is sufficiently destroyed, so we have resorted to playing with the actual playhouse now.

Next stop, Louisiana.....
