Big Events

So, I am a week late at posting this, no big surprise, but here is the news.

On August 1st, Blaire's first tooth broke through (bottom middle right). The night before was rough, and we just could not figure out what was wrong with her. The next morning, when I stuck my finger in her mouth, I felt it. So sharp! She slept great the following nights.

On Sunday, August 2nd, she started pushing herself up on her knees. Not for too long, but she could do. On Tuesday night, she crawled a little, starting with her left leg. It ended in tears and screams because Jon and I got overly excited and clapped and cheered for her. She was so scared.

She continued to sleep great every night, until this past Saturday night. Oh, I feel so stupid for not realizing the pattern, it was just like the night before her first tooth came in. Anyway, Jon made the comment that her tooth was really wide, so I felt around and realized her second tooth came in, again on the bottom.

So that was our past week. Not the excitement everyone is looking for, but it was pretty exciting for us.
